Fuse is now Lamplighter!

Fuse has been rebranded (and slightly redeveloped) as Lamplighter.

Lamplighter maintains full backward compatibility with Fuse, but we've made a lot of upgrades, including a rewrite of the database abstraction layer and enhancements to the Data model (among many others).

Fuse will not be actively supported, but the site will remain for historical purposes. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Fuse v2.0 in development

Just wanted to let everyone know that while the 1.x branch of Fuse is still being updated, work has begun on Fuse 2.0, which introduces a lot of updates to the main codebase. 2.0 will be fully backward compatible with all 1.x projects, but offers key features such as: -DB modules rewritten to make use of PDO -Query object supports prepared statements -Large portions of legacy code removed or changed to decrease Fuse's overall footprint -Templating engine made more efficient -Pluggable authentication

FUSE 1.2 released

FUSE 1.2 has been released! New features include -search() method added to data controller -Updated function/method parsing in templates -PDO support available, but in beta More changes are available in Trac.
Fuse 1.1r3-pre2 available for download

The latest source on the download page is now the 2nd pre-release for Fuse-1.1r3, which includes a lot of enhancements and some minor bug fixes.

Site facelift / 1.0 Announcement

Changed the look and feel of the FUSE site -FUSE 1.0, release slated for Jan 31 2008 -New features include:
  • Static caching
  • updated BRIJ/Ajax functionality
  • download as a PEAR package
  • Support for script.aculo.us sortables

Uploaded the latest version of FUSE. Some minor bugfixes and feature additions. Docs to follow.
New site launched

To coincide with the release of the latest, MVC/ORM oriented version of FUSE, a new site has been launched. Nothing complicated, but it gets the job done. Additional docs will be added to the wiki in upcoming weeks.
